The Community Education Partnership

The parent volunteer programme is designed to encourage "lifelong learning" by developing the skill set of our parents and empowering them, whilst also providing valuable support for our children's learning too. The parent volunteers support all phases of the school by supporting a range of different subjects such as Reading, Writing, Maths and Art. The volunteers provide an additional support to our children in school and are a valuable resource in supporting the progress of our children.

Process to apply for voluntary work:

Contact Miss Cockbill or Mrs Dawes by phoning the school or writing to us.

The school will invite you in to discuss what skills you can offer, your interests and what experience/skills you want to develop through voluntary work.

The school will organise a DBS check using the relevant documentation to allow you to work with children

Once this has cleared you are able to work voluntary with any year group in school.

At this point you will be invited in by Mrs Dawes who will run through an induction package with you to make sure you are supported in developing your voluntary work and supporting learning.
